New Jersey Schools Development Authority Advances New Perth Amboy High School with Advertisement for Design-build contract

Firms interested in participating in this procurement must attend a mandatory pre-bid conference on April 9, 2019 at 11 a.m. at the Perth Amboy Board of Education Office located at 178 Barracks Street.
Price & Technical Proposals are due to the SDA on July 2, 2019 and price proposal opening date is August 6, 2019.

"The new Perth Amboy High School project will help to address the significant overcrowding that exists in the Perth Amboy School District and will provide students with access to a modern facility that will help them to reach for success. The construction cost estimate for the new Perth Amboy High School design-build contract is $210-230 Million, marking the largest procurement undertaken by the SDA to date. The construction of this highly anticipated school will result in a 576,000 square-foot, three-story educational facility for approximately 2,800 students.
To date, the SDA has invested more than $92 million in completed projects in Perth Amboy alone. The SDA is also currently constructing the new $56 million, Rose M. Lopez Elementary School in Perth Amboy.
