New Elementary School (School #5 Replacement) |

The new grade K to 5 school will be built on the District-owned Woodrow Wilson School #5 site. The school will be designed to educate a maximum of approximately 850 students in a 125,000 square-foot facility. The project scope includes demolition of the existing Woodrow Wilson School No. 5 in advance of construction of the new facility. |
CURRENT STATUS - As of March 1, 2024: An early site preparation contract was awarded to APS Contracting, Inc. in December 2023. The contractor has mobilized and asbestos containing material removal has commenced in order to prepare the building for demolition.
