New Decatur Avenue Elementary School |

The new grade Pre-K to 5 school will be built on the District-owned Decatur Avenue School site. The school will be designed to educate a maximum of approximately 600 students in a 91,000 square-foot facility. |
CURRENT STATUS - As of April 1, 2026: The early site preparation activities and sanitary relocation work is complete. The design phase of the design-build contract is ongoing. A procurement for construction management services was issued February 5, 2026 and proposals were due March 10, 2026. An award recommendation will be brought to the May Board meeting.
