New Decatur Avenue Elementary School |

The new grade Pre-K to 5 school will be built on the District-owned Decatur Avenue School site. The school will be designed to educate a maximum of approximately 600 students in a 91,000 square-foot facility. |
CURRENT STATUS - As of March 1, 2026: The early site preparation activities are ongoing. Sanitary line relocation work is ongoing and the site is being graded to the final site elevations. An award for design-build services was approved by the Board of Directors in December 2025. A procurement for construction management services was issued February 5, 2026 and proposals are due March 10, 2026.
