Through this Request for Proposals (“RFP”), New Jersey Schools Development Authority (“NJSDA”) seeks to engage a number of Firms to provide Legal Services to the NJSDA in ten (10) legal specialty areas. For each specialty area, three (3) Firms will be engaged to assist the NJSDA's Division of Chief Counsel and to provide legal advice, consultative services, and, when required, formal representation of the NJSDA. The NJSDA anticipates engaging and utilizing Firms in the speciality areas of (1) Insurance Coverage; (2) Bankruptcy and Insolvency Proceedings; (3) Environmental Claims; (4) Professional Errors and/or Omissions and Cost Recovery; (5) Employment Litigation; (6) Government Contracting; (7) Appeals; (8) Construction Litigation; (9) Real Estate Law (transactions, acquisitions, voluntary and involuntary condemnations) and (10) Design-Build delivery method for school faicilities projects. An interested Firm may submit a Proposal to be considered for engagement in any or all of these specialty areas. Specific work assignments to Firms that are engaged through this procurement shall be made on a "task-order" basis as determined by NJSDA. Firms will be required to submit a proposed budget for each task order assignment. The budget shall be subject to NJSDA's approval and acceptance prior to commencement of services under the task order assignment.

The NJSDA shall not hold a traditional Pre-proposal conference for this procurement. All firms wishing to submit a proposal MUST sign in electronically by sending a mandatory e-mail Notice of Intent to Participate to Megan Cox at email@example.com no later than 5:00 pm on Monday, December 27, 2010.
Firms may submit questions to the NJSDA by sending them by e-mail to Megan Cox at firstname.lastname@example.org no later than 5:00 pm on Monday, December 27, 2010. The questions and answers shall be provided electronically to each firm that submitted a timely e-mail Notice of Intent to Participate.
Completed Proposals MUST be received NO LATER than 5:00 PM on Thursday, January 13, 2011, and may be mailed or hand delivered as set forth in the RFP.
Proposing firms MUST submit a true copy of their valid business registration certificate issued by the New Jersey Division of Revenue and complete a Moral Integrity Questionnaire.
