PROJECT LABOR AGREEMENTS
The
New Jersey Economic Development Authority (EDA) is seeking to develop a
research
base and protocols for identifying projects, developing Project Labor
Agreements
(PLA’s), and evaluating the effectiveness of utilizing PLA’s on school
projects
built under the New Jersey School Financing and Construction Act. The Act
authorizes
the EDA to initiate approximately eight billion dollars of school construction
over
the next 10 years.
EDA
is seeking proposals for consulting services to conduct research on Project
Labor
Agreements,
make recommendations for project selection criteria and procedures, and
development
of a framework for data collection to evaluate the use of PLA’s. Proposals
will
be evaluated based upon the following criteria:

AM, at the NJEDA offices, 36 West State Street, Trenton, New Jersey.
Proposals
are due on Monday, July 8,
2002 by 2:00 PM at the NJEDA offices, 1 West
