THE NJSDA IS SEEKING TO ENGAGE THE SERVICES OF GENERAL CONTRACTORS FOR FUTURE GENERAL CONSTRUCTION SERVICES PACKAGES.

THE NJSDA WILL ENTER INTO A "GENERAL CONSTRUCTION SERVICES TASK ORDER CONTRACT" WITH MULTIPLE FIRMS UNDER THIS SOLICITATION. THE "GENERAL CONSTRUCTION SERVICES TASK ORDER CONTRACT" SHALL EXPIRE SEPTEMBER 30, 2013. CONTRACTORS RECEIVING AN AWARD AS A RESULT OF THIS PROCUREMENT WILL BE THE EXCLUSIVE AND SOLE CONTRACTORS FOR GENERAL CONSTRUCTION SERVICES TASK ORDERS DURING THE TERM OF THIS CONTRACT.

THE NJSDA HAS NO OBLIGATION TO AWARD ANY TASK ORDER TO ANY CONTRACTOR AWARDED A "GENERAL CONSTRUCTION SERVICES TASK ORDER CONTRACT."

Proposals will be received from bidders registered with the Division of Revenue and Department of Labor, and classified by the Department of Treasury, Division of Property Management and Construction and the NJSDA in the following trade(s):

General Contractor with a DPMC Classification of C006 or C008 or C009

A mandatory pre-bid conference will be held as follows:

The NJSDA shall review all Project Rating Proposals submitted for responsiveness and inform all firms of their Project Rating Limit. Only those firms with a Project Rating Limit of $1,000,000 or greater will be considered for award.

A firm or person or affiliate thereof may not serve as a general contractor or as a subcontractor or as a subconsultant on an authority project for which a firm or person serves as the construction manager or as a subcontractor or as a subconsultant to the construction manager.
