Public School #19 is one of the district’s oldest buildings erected in 1899. Located on a small site on James Street near Paterson Avenue, the building serves as a primary school for children kindergarten through 4th grade. The 3-story 31,261-square-foot facility houses 279 students and is comprised of 14 classrooms and one special education room. Health and Safety work has been performed at the school. The work included new emergency and exit lighting system, restoration and cleaning of exterior building masonry, replacement of stage foot lights, mechanical window louver insulated metal panels and reuse of existing boiler and replacement of all piping, terminal units, and component equipment. |
