Public School #7 is a 50,095-square-foot 3-story facility comprised of 27 classrooms. It currently houses 272 students in grades 5th through 8th. The original building was constructed in 1919. Health and Safety work has been performed at the school. The work included a complete new heating and ventilating system throughout the building, reuse of existing boiler and replacement of all piping, terminal units and component equipment, installation of emergency and exit lighting system, improvements the stair tower assembly and doors, replacement of classroom doors, hardware, roof, stage foot lights, lintels at exterior door and window locations, interior railings, restoration and cleaning of exterior building masonry. |
