Paterson Public School No. 5 built in 1939 is a 3-story building housing 1,150 kindergarten through 8th grade students. The facility is approximately 107,000 square feet and is comprised of 27 classrooms. Health and Safety work has been performed at the school. The work included a new heating and ventilating system throughout the building, installation of emergency and exit lighting, replacement of the stair tower door assemblies, classroom doors, hardware, roof, stage foot lights, windows, lintels at exterior door and window locations, and restoration and cleaning of the exterior building masonry. |
