Public School #4 is four stories and currently houses 582 students from 5th through 8th grade. The original building was built in 1922. The 94,020-square-foot facility is comprised of 49 classrooms, an art room, TV studio, 2 computer rooms, 1 computer lab, carpentry, auditorium and gymnasium. Health and Safety work has been performed at the school. The work included a new heating and ventilating system throughout the building, installation of emergency and exit lighting, replacement of the stair tower door assemblies, exterior and classroom doors, roof and windows. |
