The Dale Avenue School is an early childhood learning center serving preschool handicapped, special education, kindergarten and first grade students. The original building was built in 1890. The school is a three-story 54,070-square-foot facility consisting of 25 classrooms, a gymnasium and cafeteria. Health and Safety work has been performed at the school. The work included installation of a new heating and ventilation system throughout the building, new emergency lighting and exit lighting system, replacement of existing tower assembly and doors, replace classrooms doors and hardware, replace roof, lintels, at exterior doors and windows and restore and clean exterior building masonry. |
