Eastside High School is a 4-story 290,489-square-foot facility housing 2,160 students in grade levels 9 through 12. The original building was constructed in 1927. The high school consists of 37 classrooms, a science demonstration room, 3 science laboratories, 3 science preparatory rooms and an art room. Health and Safety work has been performed at the facility. The work included reuse of the existing boiler and replacement of all piping, terminal units, component equipment, new emergency lighting and exit lighting system, replacement of existing tower assembly and doors, classroom doors and hardware, windows, stage foot lights, lintel at exterior door and window locations and restoration and cleaning of the exterior building masonry. |
