Rosa Parks is a fine and performing arts high school. The building was purchased by the district and reconstructed in 1986. The facility has concrete block walls and open web joist with corrugated steel decking. The 49,317-square-foot thirteen-classroom facility houses 250 students. Health and Safety work has been performed at the school. The work included reuse of the existing boiler and replacement of all piping, terminal units, and component equipment, new emergency and exit lighting system, restoration and cleaning of exterior building masonry, replacement of stage foot lights, lintels at exterior door and window locations, roof repair. |
