A 15,500-square-foot addition has been added to the 57,000-square-foot Horbelt Elementary School increasing the student capacity from 350 to 550 kindergarten through 5th grade students. The addition includes several classrooms, bathrooms and support areas. The renovations included mechanical, plumbing, electrical, fire protection, and telephone/data systems to serve the addition. A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held on May 20, 2009 to dedicate the expansion and renovation of the school. The project was designed by KSS Architects of Princeton and built by Hessert Corporation and managed by AFG Group. |
