The Dunfee Elementary School, a 38,000-square-foot one-story facility was enlarged by a 20,500-square-foot addition that includes several classrooms, art and music rooms and a gymnasium. The addition increases the student capacity from 410 to 515 in kindergarten through 5th grade. The entire facility received a new roof, sprinkler system and telephone/data installation. The mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems were replaced. The newly expanded and renovated Lillian M. Dunfee Elementary School was dedicated in a ribbon-cutting ceremony May 21, 2009. The project was designed by KSS Architects, built by Hessert Corporation and managed by AFG Group. |
