(Old Amerigo A. Anastasia Elementary School) Amerigo A. Anastasia Elementary School was originally built in 1973. The building received various health and safety repairs. Examples of the repairs include new roofing, electrical system upgrades, window replacements, asbestos abatement, fire alarm system upgrades, structural repairs, boiler replacement, bringing facilities up to current codes, and more. This school facility was renamed Morris Avenue School when construction was completed for the new 94,000-square-foot replacement school named in honor of Dr. Amerigo Anthony Anastasia. |
