Garrison Architects designed a health and safety project that included repairs to the existing masonry and the replacement of some existing windows. The existing doors were either repaired or replaced, and new hardware was installed. The existing asbestos was abated, installation of new corridor and common area lighting, existing exit signs and emergency lights were replaced. Wu & Associates completed this project in early 2003 bringing Jefferson Elementary up to a standard that met all of the latest codes for elementary schools in New Jersey. Jefferson houses 473 students. |
