Description of Project: Veterans Memorial Intermediate School received a 15,075-square-foot addition and 77,021 square feet of renovations to its existing school. The addition features a much-needed music room, a new cafeteria and kitchen, media center, as well as more classrooms. Major rehabilitation of the mechanical systems and exterior brick and window replacement took place while school was in session. The addition was designed by Manders/Merighi Associates of Vineland, and built by Arthur J. Ogren, Inc. Gilbane Building Company managed the project. The project was complete for the start of the 2007 – 2008 academic year. |
