Description of Project: The new Creative Arts Morgan Village Academy school opened to students in September 2011. The 92,000 square-foot facility was built to accommodate 520 students. The school includes general use classrooms, special education classrooms, science labs, school-to-career classrooms with labs, small group instruction rooms, media center, cafeteria with kitchen, auditorium and gymnasium. Fletcher-Thompson Architecture Engineering was the design firm for the project and URS Corporation was the construction management firm. Chanree Construction Company Inc. was the general contractor for the replacement school. |
