The new Slaybaugh Elementary School is approximately 60,800 square feet and house 500 Pre-Kindergarten, Kindergarten and 1st grade students. The school is constructed on district owned property next to an existing elementary school creating an elementary school campus. The new school consists of 25 classrooms, art/music room, computer lab, library-media center, and cafeteria/gym/auditorium. The Egg Harbor Twp. Board of education offices are included in a small extension wing to the administrative offices at the Slaybaugh School. Design Collaborative, Architects And Planners designed the project. Tamburro Brothers Construction Co., Inc. was the general contractor. The school opened in September 2007. |
