The new Davenport Elementary School is approximately 57,700 square feet and houses 500 Pre-Kindergarten, Kindergarten and 1st grade students. The school was constructed on district owned property next to an existing elementary school creating an elementary school campus. The new school consists of 25 classrooms, art/music room, computer lab, library-media center, and cafeteria/gym/auditorium. Design Collaborative, Architects And Planners designed the project. Tamburro Brothers Construction Co., Inc. was the general contractor. The school opened in September 2007. |
