This project is a phased 123,000-square-foot addition and a 49,000-square-foot renovation project to the existing high school to accommodate a projected student enrollment of 2,800. Phase I work includes 14 new classrooms, a new gymnasium, and site utility work. Phase II work includes additional general classrooms, additions to the auditorium and cafeteria, new administrative office space and renovation of existing science labs. The 2 phases are to take place concurrently. Greyhawk is the Project Management Firm. The design contract was awarded to Design Collaborative, Architects and Planners. On June 18, 2008 a contract was awarded to Tamburro Brothers Construction Company, Inc./Martell Construction Company, Inc., a Joint Venture as the general contractor for Phase I. The general contract for Phase II was awarded to Sambe Construction Company, Inc. on October 16, 2008. It is anticipated that the two additions will be completed in January 2011. |
