In June 2002, health and safety repairs were completed at Bradley Primary School. At that same time, plans for a new 33,600-square-foot two-story addition began. The addition includes a science room, a new gymnasium, an art room, and a music room with approximately 47,000 square feet of the existing building receiving renovations that include a new heating and air conditioning system and a new sprinkler system.
The project was designed by SSP Architectural Group, Inc. and built by Turner Construction Company. Gilbane Building Company was the project management firm.
On December 22, 2004 New Jersey Schools Construction Corporation (SCC) representatives and Asbury Park School District officials formally opened the new addition to Bradley Primary School. Students, teachers, parents and community supporters, along with area officials, were on hand.
