Strategic Initiatives

This section illustrates the strategic initiatives the SDA is undertaking to further its mission to provide safe, healthy and sustainable schools to the children of New Jersey while effectively managing taxpayer dollars. Initiatives include building high-performance schools using LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) criteria, expediting emergent projects to ensure health and safety, and creating schools with features to benefit the local community.
